Summer Arts Camp (in person ) at Harns Marsh Middle School, July 12th - 16th, 2021
$125 tuition for the week include breakfast/lunch and a souvenir t-shirt, ages 8-15.
Four different camps are offered and students must choose one .
Visual Arts Camp with Kirston Bero
Students will explore Landscape Painting and Mixed Media, Abstract Painting and Portraits with Graphite. A $15 charge for art supplies will apply.
Landscape Painting and Mixed Media
Students will explore two-dimensional elements of art, using acrylic and mixed media techniques. Landscape painting will form the basis of technique approaches. (A $15 supply fee will apply to this lesson).
Abstract Painting: Harmony and Balance
Students will be working with 2-Dimensional elements of design to complete an Abstract painting using a variety of color harmonies.
Portraits with Graphite
Students will explore two-dimensional elements of art, using graphite as the medium. Students will learn the basic formula on how to create portraits and refine them to make them look realistic.
Keyboard Camp with Candace Sundby
For beginning and intermediate levels. Students will also have fun exploring Music History, Note Reading and the basics of Music Theory. Music will be provided.
Band Camp with Kenny Carter
For students with a minimum of one year playing experience with your band instrument. Students will take a brief audition for seating. Please prepare eight measures from a piece of your choice for the audition.
Strings Camp with Jonathan Lawrence
For violin, viola or cello students with one year experience. Must be able to read basic music.
About our “In-Person” Summer Camps
Our programs provide a variety of high quality artistic and
educational experiences that promote positive personal
growth, interest and achievement in the arts. We also
design our programs to develop cooperation, personal
responsibility, teamwork, respect, and goal achievement
and strive to ensure that all participants have positive,
enjoyable, and successful experiences. Students are fully
supervised by our professional staff at all times in a safe,
secure, positive, and student-centered environment.
To Enroll / Register
By Mail: Fill out the form included with our brochure and
mail it in with your payment. Once received, you will be
sent a confirmation sheet with a map & directions.

Space in some camps is limited, so early registration is
The average day is divided into two morning sessions
and two afternoon sessions, with a break in the morning
and afternoon, as well as an hour lunch break.
Hours & Supervision
All camps begin at 9:30am and end at 3:30pm. Students
WILL NOT be supervised before 9:00am or after 4:00pm
and will need to be picked up promptly.
Drop Off / Pick Up
Parents/Guardians should accompany students to the sign
in table on the first day of camp. Parents may drop off/
pick up their child(ren) at the Parent Pickup area located
in the front of the campus for the remainder of the week.
A “school-type” breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Students can bring their own lunches.
The camps will follow the guidelines of The School District of Lee
County with students wearing masks and socially distancing.
Students must provide their own instruments for Band
and String Camps. Percussionists should bring their own
sticks. Students should mark all of their own equipment
with their name.
Each (in person) camp fee is $125 per week, which
includes all activities, breakfast, lunch and a souvenir
t-shirt. No refunds will be issued. An additional $15 supply
fee is required for the Visual Arts Camp.
A deposit of at least $25 is required with registration which will be deducted from the total Camp fee. No refunds will be issued. Total payment is due one week prior to camp, no reminders will be sent.
